Senior Pictures
How to get the best senior pictures
Are you looking for creative, top-notch senior pictures? Well, you have come to the right place! I have a gift for capturing who you really are. This is an important time in your life that you will want to remember. Don’t settle for the same, boring images all your friends will have. Choose to stand out.
My senior picture sessions are managed differently than most. I only use state of the art equipment, which includes reflectors, high-quality flash, and diffusers. Most other senior photographers make do with direct sunlight, which is very harsh and inconsistent. Their pictures often have unflattering shadows and shine.
My only priority is getting you the stunning pictures you’ll be proud to send to your family. I don’t place any limits on poses, outfit changes, or locations. Bring the clothes and objects that make you feel most like you. I’m based out of Overland Park, but I have found many interesting locations in Kansas City. If you want to go into Kansas City, we’ll go to Kansas City. If you want to go to a park, we’ll go to a park. We can go to your school, the plaza, a warehouse, well… you’re getting it. We’ll go wherever there’s a great picture to be had, and we can go to more than one place. Since I am a professional photographer, I also offer a fully equipped studio. In the studio we can generate bold, flattering looks with striking lighting. I will have you looking like a magazine model just like my sample pictures here! After the shoot, we’ll meet to review your pictures. You can hand-pick what prints you would like in what sizes. You will not be forced into any set packages with me.
My rate for a senior pictures session is $445. With this price I will use as much time as we need to get your desired look! I focus on capturing the essence of your personality. I guarantee a great time because I am a fun, laid back guy! Why not have it all? Choose JPShots for your senior photo needs!

Good Morning!
I’m looking to book my daughter’s senior pictures at the end of July. Does the $445 just cover the sitting fees? Can you send me pricing on packages and ordering portraits?

My son is a senior and does not want senior pictures. I’m wondering if this is something you’ve experienced before and if you’re okay dealing with a moody teenager?
Hi Karen,
You are not the only mother with a son that is ‘less than enthused’ about getting senior photos. I think one of the best things to help with this is to find out what his interests are and focus on incorporating that into the shoot. If he’s into cars, lets use shoot him with his car… Another thing I find guys into is the idea of a more gritty vibe. It seems a bit my edgy to go to the west bottoms with graffiti and such- or at the very least, the moody look will blend in with the scene.
